Twin River's poker room is just too small at only 16 tables. On a Monday afternoon I found myself waiting almost an hour for a table because they did not schedule a sufficient number of dealers even when they had open tables. When you finally do get a table it can get going pretty good with minimal interruptions. Since alcohol is not free here it stops people from getting belligerent. I see that as a positive as they normally slow down the game. On a Friday-Sunday you will find yourself waiting 2 hours for a table but will find the 1-2 NL tables to be extremely beatable. This poker room is full of gamblers who do not want to drive to CT so the skill is just not that good. I have not played at the 5-10 NL table but I assume these guys know poker as well. I am from CT but since I am not 21 I cannot play at in this state yet. My last piece of information will be a quote I hear almost every time I'm there....'Where are you from?'......'Connecticut.'.........'Why the @#$% did you come here?!'

Twin River Casino continuously monitors business levels and strives to offer Table Game limits that are comfortable for all our guests. I will pass along our remarks to the Table Games department. Please visit our virtual and stadium table games, which typically offer lower minimums (usually five dollars).
