I have an older williams stampede without the dot matrix display.I received this machine not working. The display lights didnt work along with none of the lights on the i/o or cpu board.the backglass and flouresent lights do work.I thought it may be the power supply,so I took it out and discovered on the lower supply board the F1 fuse 10amp was blown.I replaced it and it blew immediately.I then replaced it again and did not have the hopper, bill validator or coin shute connected and it still happened. Each time the red light on the board lit up and then faded off.I need help please.

from what I have heard a lot of people have had similar issue and unless yer part level experanced they have just swapped the power supplies. I have heard they have a upper and lower power supply. one I think is dedicated to the top matrix etc... I would also check for a loose hot wire loating around hitting somewhere where it shouldn't. and all connections clean corosion free and tight.
good luck =)
